Why I Joined EWGA I was coaxed in to joining the EWGA by my friend, Lisa, to help us find other women with a passion for golf. We were tired of being paired with guys at local courses.
Joining EWGA has elevated my game by adding competition and providing access to a handicap tool.
The new friendships I've made were an added bonus. Golf is a great distraction after a hectic day in the medical field as an MRI technologist.
EWGA enhances of golf with its many benefits on and off the course.

Why I Joined EWGA After rescuing my flooded clubs from hurrican Katrina, a golf shop in Baton Rouge, LA cleaned and re-gripped them. Though the bag and all the contents had to be replaced, the clubs worked as well as ever. Now, who to play with and where. Baton Rouge Chapter of the EWGA to the rescue. Being marooned in Baton Rouge for two years after th hurricane provided ample opportunity to explore all the courses, meet and play with many different golfers and have lots of fun.
When I moved to Fort Worth three years ago, I figured I would re-use the strategy that worked so well in Baton Rouge and join the Lone Star EWGA chapter - Meet new golfers, play new courses, and have FUN!
